“A fantastic place! Ilaria and Serena are THE BEST”
“Great staff that went out of their way to help. Good breakfast. Excellent value.”
“The most beautiful hotel I've ever been to. Wonderful personell, many home animals, great music, drinks, gorgeus garden! And... I loved the breakfast - normaly in Italy you get a cornetto & coffee - this hotel provides delicious continental breakfast in a very good price.”
“It's a family run hotel with a friendly atmosphere set in attractive gardens. Pets are welcome so there are cats , dogs and rabbits in the garden. We had to go into Rome to meet family, the train station is a longish walk away so we took the bus which suited us as the terminus is close to where we were going. The bus stop in Fregene is a short distance from the hotel. Just be aware that the bus to Rome leaves from the far side of the road from the hotel where there is no bus stop. [there is a bus stop opposite, on the near side of the road where buses stop to go into the town or to the airport. ] The hotel has a Beach club restaurant which provides a very fishy menu. [ as do all the restaurants nearby] We loved the fact that it was still beautifully warm in September but amazingly many restaurants were in close down mode. We were looking for a rest and that's what we got!”
“The staff was extremely friendly and the restored villa was very comfortable, clean and charming with pretty landscaping/grounds. Free rental bicycles was a nice feature, as was the discounted dinner at their partner beach club/restaurant a very short walk away. We also enjoyed the room's private lanai, and the fact that you could grab a takeaway beer from the lobby "bar" 24/7. Overall it was a very nice place to stay for a one-night airport layover.”
“Very nice and quiet house with friedly staff. Charmingly spaces in the garden and the house itself to chill with good cappuccino. The price of 6 Euro for Breakfast including all you can drink and eat is fair and worth it.”
“Kids friendly, English - Russian language, staff were very friendly”
“Everything at the hotel was fine for us and the ladies enjoyed the beach. We only stayed overnight from Cruise end to flying back to Canada next day but we will be back for a longer stay. Relaxed, in the country, friendly staff and value for money.”
“Very good location, few steps always from the beach and in a very quiet area. The structure itself is also very nice (even though it may require a bit of renovation)”
“This is not a luxury resort but rather a throwback to 1960's European family run inn. We decided to spend a night here rather than in an airport hotel in Rome. It was a great decision! This property is 2 blocks from the beach and within walking distance to a few restaurants. While the rooms and baths are small they are clean and functional. Fregene is a nice community on the sea and worth the visit.”
