“Ilya Pera hotel is the best one that I've ever stayed. The location is so good that you can go to a Taksim metro station and famous places in Istiklal area in 10 minutes on foot. The room is better and wider than I expected, and a female staff cleans very well. Above all, Muslum and Sait are very nice. Their kindness was a great help when I was in trouble. Lastly, a mascot of this hotel is a cat, Peynir. All guests will be a fan of her. If I stay at Taksim, I will choose this hotel without hesitation.”

“İlya Pera has nice, clean rooms, solid facilities, and a wonderfully central location just minutes walk from Taksim Square. These factors alone make the hotel more than worth the value. However, the true magic of İlya Pera is in the people who work and stay there. Everyone I met at the hotel was very friendly, and though I didn't really speak Turkish, everyone made me feel welcome and I made very good friends along the way. Also, there's almost always coffee, tea or really yummy soup and other foods that you can have, courtesy of Müslüm, one of the hotel managers. You just have to ask nicely. :) If you're staying here, definitely take some time to get to know the people. You'll be glad you did!”
