“The hotel is situated on a retail park, handy for restaurants and the odd bit of shopping. A short drive from La Rochelle, but not in walking distance. Although the hotel is very close to a busy road we were not disturbed by traffic noise. The room was cool all through the night and the air conditioning did not disturb us, although the outside temperature had dropped a little anyway. The food at the Italian restaurant next door was good. We are a family of 5 and had interconnecting rooms, which is very helpful. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms, although not huge, did not feel poky and were light and airy. This hotel is probably the best low budget hotel I have stayed in. Great value for money.”
