“Normally I just have to pay extra for my dog, and the fee is only for stated cleaning and etc. but at Iriarte Juageria they have put out utensils for my dog, and the welcoming was very honest and warm.”

“The location of this beautiful property is more like the alps than Spain, green hills, chalet style lodges an the sound of cow bells - wonderfully peaceful and less than 2 hours from the ferry port. The food in the restaurant is exceptional a real highlight for our trip. There is free parking on site and the hotel were very accommodating of our motorbikes, allowing us to park them in a sheltered spot on the terrace right outside the door.”

“The location is excellent for seeing the main sites. We took days trips to san sebastian and Bilbao, and many other sites along the coast with ease. It's very central, but tucked away in a gorgeous part of the countryside. It was very relaxing. The beds are comfy and staff very helpful. The food is also excellent at the bar and also at the restaurant.”

“Beautiful palace conversion, rural location in the Basque hills. We had a room on 3rd floor with great view. Stylish conversion with mix of authentic original structure & newer modern twists. Staff were lovely, such a personal service. Breakfast had a very good choice of yogurts, lots of fresh and prepared fruit and delicious breads/ pastries. Cold cuts, cheese and eggs available too. The Balaire restaurant was stunning, a must if staying here”
