“We liked the interior of the hotel. It was traditionally oriental stile and the furniture was handcrafted, but not very practical.”
“The staff - although not very smiley, they were kind, helpful and professional. We spent 5 nights there and they already knew what type of coffee we wanted for breakfast and other small details that made our stay cozy. The building - an historical building transformed in heritage hotel and decorated traditionally - it was like living in a arab house for 1 week!! The food - delicious, diverse and abundant breakfast, delicious food in the restaurant. The location - 5 minutes walking from Damascus Door in the old city.”
“Room 105 was a joy. Large, comfortable and with good bathroom facilities. The restaurant was very pleasant for breakfast, drinks in the evening and dinner. Altogether a first class hotel.”
“Great place with its own atmosphere of Oriental palace and family cosiness, very friendly staff, who are ready to help you with any problems and of course very good location - hope to stay there again!”
“Nice atmosphere, good and authentic style, perfect position.”
“Old stylish building with roots in ottoman empire, good breakfast, nice service, location close to Damascus gate ”
“Super location near to Damascus gate, Garden tomb, Mea Shearim and bus to Betlehem (231).The hotel has great atmosphere.”
“Best location to explore Old Town, unique atmosphere at hotel and it's surroundings.”
“Period British Mandate building, furnished in that period. Location excellent, with a short stroll to Old Jerusalem and to bustling Palestinian East Jerusalem. Only a 10 min walk to West Jerusalem for those who want dip back into Europe. Very relaxed dining area outside with good local food and international clientele.”
“The ideal location near Damascus gate. Very calm. Little hotel.”
