“Kumamoto castle is right at the window of the room. Unfortunately they are in renovation, but the view and room are good and tidy.”

“This hotel is located just across the Kumamoto Castle (which is now under major maintenance due to damage sustained in the earthquake previously), so unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy the view of the castle from the hotel. However, I was upgraded to a twin room (from a single room), so for the price I paid it was truly value for money. Needless to say, it is also a very short walk to the castle (for visiting what's remaining opened to travelers). Room is large and cosy for my two-night stay.”
