“Nice modern remodel of an old packing house. Beautiful bathroom with double shower head. Good breakfast with lots of options. Quiet, peaceful surroundings. Just down the road from the center of town with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from.”

“The was definitely the best hotel we stayed in for our whole 2 week holiday. Wonderfully atmospheric old castle in very pretty setting - set back from the road and overlooking a meadow towards the town. The bedrooms are not in the Castle but in a converted warehouse by canal 100 metres from hotel - but wonderfully converted and large and comfortable. Bathroom 'in' the room which might not suit everyone. Our bedroom was at the back and I would ask for one overlooking the canal another time. Very quiet. However, the best thing about this hotel was definitely the food. Choice of a la carte or 3,4,or 5 course set menus at very reasonable prices starting at Euros 27.50. The set menus are a 'mystery' but you can specify meat or fish and they cater for any food allergies. Absolutely superb food both nights - and house wine (Spanish) also very good. Really fine dining but not at fine dining prices.”

The bathtub in the middle of the room is funny and big enough even for a tall man. It was quiet at the channel and the bed comfortable. I would recommend a stay.”
