“Had a good time at Kite n Roll, very nice people! They helped us to find our way around. Rather expensive for low season and hot shower only outside, but fine.”

“Sri Lanka has not a lot of accomodations that have the atmosphere of a hostel. Kite n Roll really is a beautiful place with great facilities. Meet the host and other guests for dinner or a small chat in the cosy central place with a big table and couches with pillows to sit on. Walk to the beach in only ten minutes! Really, really loved this place. Oh.. they say it is a good spot for kite surfing too!”

“I used Google maps and found the place quite easily, it's literarily a straight road from the junction, where I got off the bus. At the jujction there are a couple of corner shops and a Sri Lankan style restaurant called The Blue lagoon, if I remember right, that serves yummy fried rice and curry. Comfortable, big, clean room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff (Dimitri does look serious at first, but he is friendly, so maybe it's just a Russian thing ;) ) and cute pets. Both Dimitri and the cook (sorry I can't remember her name) helped me out with all my questions and helped me get a tuk tuk to the train station the day I left. It's 5 minuets walk from a beautiful beach and I scuba dived. So all in all, I really enjoyed this little corner of Sri Lanka.”

“We felt very well there. We all cooked together and had a good time with playing games and stuff. Very relaxed atmosphere, not really action because we have been there in the off season but it was still nice for us because of Natalia, Wova and Morfil. Thanks to u guys we really miss u. Unfortunately we just stayed there for 2 nights. To the beach it is a little walk between 5 and 10 minutes. We would stay there again!!!! And we loved the dogs and cats :-D”
