“Excellent, quiet location, walking distance to main attractions., in keeping with Konya´s atmosphere. Muamar, the owner/manager, moves mountains to help you before you even request it. In our case: prepared a late breakfast due to plane delay, helped fix a flat tire, helped purchase a Turkey SIM card, changed car rental pick up point. A good man. Breakfast beautifullly laid out and carefully made, with wide variety. Tip: owns a carpet shop with prices that beat Istanbul Grand Bazaar´s by far.”
“Lovely Ottoman house in good location for exploring Konya. Very helpful staff and spacious rooms. Good breakfast with homemade touches.”
“Amazing rooms with antique carpets, kilims and paintings. Very helpful staff.”
“Superb fruit. Large choice of breakfast items. Cafetiere coffee made on request. Location of hotel perfect for sightseeing. Walking distance of Mevlana cultural centre (Dervish Seva on Saturday evening), UNESCO Mevlana complex, museums, bazaar, restaurants.”
“Everyday, we had a lavished breakfast. Fresh food was always available for breakfast. The personnel was so eager to help. The outside garden where guests can have coffee is very nice. No doubt Konya is called the "City of Hearts" Mr Mohammar, the owner manager, was absolutely most helpful and made our stay worthy to be remembered.”
“Friendly, helpful owners, beautiful traditional house just two blocks from Rumi's tomb and heart of old city. We walked everywhere and were welcomed as Americans. Suggest three nights for this location as there is so much to do in city center and nearby.”
“This boutique hotel with only 7 rooms is very special. The garden is excellent, the hotel is full of history and very spacious. We were treated really well by Muammer and Gabbi the owners, they couldn’t do enough for us; çay was always available at any time of the day; the breakfasts were among the best we have had in Turkey; the hotel is an easy walking distance to the city centre museums and mosques and, most importantly, right on the doorstep for the Mevlana! Ron and Sarah Hayes.”
“Beautifully restored 200 year old Ottoman House. Great location near to the Mevlana museum and grand Mosque. Extremely well looked after by the owner and his wife. Wonderful selection of breakfast food.”
“The mystic effect created in the hotel keeping in view the history of Konya aligned with Rumi's place. The staff was very helpful. They communicated very well. All the places are within walking distance. The garden is beautiful. The hotel is very clean and although close to the city center but on a peaceful street. Mr.Mummar was very helpful.”
