“Basic facilities but clean. Staff helpful. Fabulous location by swing bridge and bakery/cafe just down the stairs. Didn't get harassed in shops (only 2nd time in 4 weeks left to browse!). First blue sky I've seen (pollution).”

“First of all, very nice and friendly staff -- manager at reception and workers in the adjacent restaurant. They made me feel very welcome. Room was comfortable with very good AC and fan. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Hot water shower was good "most of the time." Location is very good, with excellent views of Ganges, temple across the way and the pedestrian bridge, seen from my room and the cafe. I only had a few dishes at Cafe de Goa (adjacent restaurant) and food seemed okay. Some restaurants, shops and ashrams within close walking distance. Most of all, I liked the staff who were generally helpful and always happy. Laundry service okay.”

“We booked a room at this hotel after a mad road trip around Uttarakhand. After staying in some very basic places throughout our trip, our top aim was to stay somewhere clean and comfy for one night before flying back via Dehradun. The staff at the hotel are pretty helpful. We choose a deluxe balcony river view room which was quite beautiful. The location was also good for getting around, and for people watching. There wasn't any breakfast but there is a cool cafe next door for food and coffee.”
“Rooms facing the Ganga River and the bridge... amazing location! Staff is simply great, very friendly and very helpful. It is very clean, specially when comparing other similar places! The restuarant, Cafe de GOa has great food, specially the indian dishes! Everything is washed with bottled water so westeners are safe of getting "funny belly" when eating here. BreakfSt on the terrace is a great gift!”
