“The location of the hotel cannot be beat, right in the heart of the historic district and blocks from everything you want to see in this town. The hotel building is historic itself but rooms are entirely modern. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station through a shopping arcade that has a great mix of shops. Public bath is available at the hotel. Staff was delightful and extremely helpful. Hotel room was clean and very efficient. The hotel itself was very quiet. We would happily stay at this property again.”
“A large and very comfortable,if a little dated, bedroom, with everything we needed. We liked the relaxing music in the public areas. The location is perfect for exploring the bikan area and the hotel itself has an interesting historical significance with suitable decor. Staff were very helpful and efficient and all in all we enjoyed our stay.”
“I liked the store with souvenirs and the breakfast, especially the green beans soup. The garden was also nice and in total the structure of the hotel is unique.”

“It was very conveniently placed to see the sights of Kurashiki - safe convenient and easy to walk everywhere, with an interesting historical context. And so easy to find. Only a short walk from the station - just follow the signs to the historical part of town.”
“Their bathroom facilities are beyond my expectation considering the price I paid. They even provided pyjama. And of course it's very near bikan area.”
“A fantastic location, right in the heart of the Bikan area. Initially we had an issue with the room which was dealt with quickly and cheerfully, with minimum fuss. The room was clean and comfortable, with good facilities and,for the price, a good deal.”
