- The shuttle bus between JR Kyoto Train Station and the hotel runs every 15-30 minutes from 08:05-20:50. (Every 15 minutes from 08:05-11:35, 16:50-20:05, every 30 minutes at other times). “Tokyu Hotel has a great charm, with an interesting mix of modernity and old Kyoto atmosphere. The inner garden with the bamboos and the flowing water brings a great sense of piece. The rooms are comfortable, clean, decorated in a Japanese fashion with all modernity available. The location is great near NishiHongwanji, and the bus entrance is about 5mns walk. The shuttle bus departs and returns to Kyoto station every 30 mns, so it is easy to plan trips around Kyoto. The reception and concierge are of great help if you are a beginner or a veteran in discovering Kyoto and its surrounding.”

“Great selection of bars and restaurants within the hotel. Buffet breakfast was great, you can even add all your favourite ingredients into a bowl and have a chef whip you up a delicious omelette! Beautiful scenery with outdoor water and bamboo features. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we loved the onsite gift shop and purchased lots of gifts for friends and family like sake sets, jewellery and yummy Kyoto sweets! Location is great, walking distance to lots of attractions, otherwise the public transport is easily accessible. 10/10 would stay again next time!”
