“We travel to the South of France twice a year and this is one of our favourite overnight stays apart from the uncertainty of secure parking. Room clean and comfortable and food excellent. We enjoy the cafes and bistros in Orange and of course the Roman theatre.”
“slap bang in the centre, restaurant was open until 11 pm”
“The bathroom was very small and difficult to deal with for two persons”
“The bed was very comfortable..coffe machine available”
“We did not manage to get to this hotel is was not clearly recognised and the hotelier was quite rude dont bother”
“Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, large and comfortable with great views of the mountains. Right in the centre.”
“Very close to the all the thing one would like to see. Within walking distance of the Gare. Restaurant good but you need reservations to eat there but can be made that night.”
“It was just off the main road south. Loved the history or orange. Good view”
“We actually stayed in this hotel three nights as we had broken down just outside Orange the week before and rented a car from there before returning. The staff were friendly and professional and the food was excellent and very good value for money. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable plus no problems with WiFi. The hotel car park is quite small but we found parking nearby on the first night. Orange is an ancient Roman town with a mini version of the Arc de Triumph depicting battle scenes with the local tribes in the first century AD and a semi-circle amphitheatre built when Jesus was 17 years old ! The town centre is very attractive and there are several cafes and restaurants . Beer is of course quite expensive in France. After returning our hired car we took the TGV to Paris directly from Orange station. Around 500km in 2hrs, 36 if I remember correctly.”
“Friendly and helpful staff. Good spot just on edge of centre so quiet but easy walk to middle of town 5 mins.”
