“We discovered a family-run Hotel and really sensed the personal interest and care. One reason for choice was the outside but covered and lamp-lit swimming pool, perhaps not available through the winter months but it was for us in early November. Ample breakfast. Food was regional and the evening meal which was good to come back to after a day out, served professionally and courteously by the owners, was accompanied by thoughtfully selected ambient music (so different to what we endured elsewhere!) Lovely wines. Very pleasant comfortable bedroom upgraded on arrival without request. Loved the pictures hanging on the walls. The choice of scenes and framing throughout the hotel was thoughtful, co-ordinated and really attractive. All felt homely.”

“Gardens and pool and the hosts were lovely. Location was perfect for catching up with other travelling family and friends staying at various venues throughout the town. Also close to the supermarket to get bits and pieces. It was very quiet with no noise from other rooms interfering with sleep. I had a great sleep every night and the bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom was very clean. And a bonus, the lift always worked so no climbing stairs! I recommend it and would stay again.”
