“The owner and his wife were lovely people. Very courteous and helpful. The hotel is located near to Carcassonne city so you will need a car. Not so if you are staying a week as the hotel has a swimming pool and lovely grounds. One day in the Cite is enough. Carcassonne town is well worth another day. Excellent and safe car parking in gated compound. Excellent restaurant next door - highly recommended.”

It was only 5 minutes to the medieval city...but be sure to get specific directions. The restaurant next door is extraordinary...two of the best meals we have ever had in our entire 74 years. Don't miss going there. Service is a little stiff, but they warm up if you give them a genuine smile.”

“The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and the pillows also get a thumbs up. The lavender soap gel and body lotion in the bathroom were lovely. You do need a car as the hotel is a 15 minute drive from the city. Well worth a visit.”
