“Lovely old House on the edge of the town with a river walk,good parking facilities a good breakfast, a fantastic lounge and gardens with quality furniture and fixtures. The owner of the House is very warm and accommodating nothing is to much trouble, there is a honesty bar which is useful to have a drink in the Fantastic lounge or gardens, the beaches are within striking distance and a good restaurant within ten minutes walk. If you are travelling in this area don't mis this lovely old house with very warm owners, I will stay again when in beautiful Asturias I wish the owners continued success.”
“Fantastic breakfast with local products. Self service bar is a nice idea. Generally the freedom you have on the property gives everything a home feeling. The decor makes you feel like in another time. Very friendly staff with some great recommendations for what to do and where to eat. Good parking away from the street. Great location to explore the beaches and mountains and towns nearby. ”

“Rambling old world charm, beautiful old furnishings and everything done wth style and elegance. We particularly loved the winter garden upstairs, which we used every morning after breakfast to read before going out. Also gorgeous is the garden. It was always easy to find a quite spot on the lawn to sit and relax. The breakfasts were also delicious with tasty croissants and homemade jams. The house is a relatively short drive away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe (of those I have seen, and unlike many of those other beaches, with clean sand).”
“La Casona de Amandi is a fantastic place to stay. It is an old Manor House beautifully furnished set in a huge garden and very welcoming. The rooms are very well appointed with very comfortable beds and an excellent large walk-in shower. Trinidad is the owner and is there to welcome you and explain all you need to know. There is a bar 100mts away and an excellent restaurant 5 minutes walk. If you wish to eat in there is an interesting menu of local products all well prepared, you need to book supper at breakfast where there's an excellent selection. It's a short drive into town and the coast and in easy reach of the majestic Picos mountains.”
