“The room was huge as was the bathroom. Everything was clean and they provided a nice basket of bathroom toiletries. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of items including fresh fruit.”
“Easy private parking one block down - important because during weekends the town parking can be chaotic. Cafetería was convenient with a good setup on the terraza to relax for a bit. Staff incredibly helpful in several languages with great recommendations and tips on seeing Altamira and other attractions. Location perfect, right next to the entrance to the medieval town of Santillana del Mar, and has a park for the kids right outside the front door.”
“Breakfast was quite good for a small buffet - good selection of meats, cheeses, and breads, pastries/donuts and cereal to keep the children happy, good coffee. The walk to the pedestrian center of Santillana del Mar was just a few short blocks. There was a small park and playground just across from the hotel. No problems with noise, and the quad room was larger than expected. Parking was free and had plenty of space.”
“Excellent location just out of Santillana del Mar centre - 3 minutes walk - lovely, if touristy, mediaeval town. Plenty of restaurants in town. Quiet location, large comfortable room, friendly staff. Easy parking (and a few places free of charge) just outside the door, otherwise a pay car park 2 minutes walk away. Good breakfast. Would definitely use again; convenient for Santander ferry (30 minutes).”
