“The location of Patate is wonderful, in a beautiful ecotourism corridor between Ambato and Banos. The host, Adrian, couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, and as he is also a tour guide, is a great source of information about attractions in the extended area. He directed us to Chimborazo, where we had wonderful vicuna sitings. The property itself is a rustic lodge. A bonus is the adjacent restaurant - delicious fresh food at reasonable prices. The breakfasts were included and were very delicious.”
