“La Floresta was a gem of a hotel -situated away from the unsavory bits of Baños i.e. the backpacker hostels, the restaurants catering to the backpacker crowd, the loud bars, and clubs. It was just down the road from the thermal baths located by the waterfalls, close enough that you could avoid the shower lines there and just come back to the room to rinse off. The staff was lovely, the rooms were charming, the garden is beautiful, and we were happy to be staying at an Ecuadorian establishment.”
“The rooms are well furnished with nice decorations, are very comfortable and have a nice view on the garden. The badroom also had a great (rain) shower. Breakfast was the best we had in Ecuador with many choices and nice fresh juices. The hotel also offers some tours and had an English speaking lady at that desk which was very helpful.”
