“Very friendly and helpful staff. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife and these were ready and waiting for us. The continental breakfast was great. Enough choice and all items were fresh. Coffee was lovely! Bars and restaurants were within a comfortable walk.”
“We found it difficult to find Madon Duce but when we did the staff were very helpful. We arrived a little early so our room wasn't ready. We were shown two other rooms and we chose the one with the shower. Maybe we should have waited to look at another because the one we took was very small. The bed was comfortable though and the shower was a decent size.”

“It was a beautiful hotel however would benefit from air conditioning or at least a fan in the room. A fan was provided when asked. The family rooms are 2 or 3 floors up steep stairs, with stairs in the room so not safe with crawling babies or toddlers but fine with slightly older kids. The family rooms were good sizes - particularly room 7 with lovely curtains to draw to enclose the children's single beds, great to help them sleep when you are still up in the room. One other thing which would add to the comfort is a mount on the wall for the shower head, rather than having to hold it.”
