“The front desk staff was warm and friendly. The hotel is in the midst of a renovation, so had to grade on a curve on appearance.”
“The young woman who checked me in was very bright and informative. Having the property under extensive renovations was quite concerning at first, but she assured me that the rooms had been totally renovated. The exterior is wrapped in scaffolding and the lobby is closed off so you walk through the construction site to the back entrance, then down hallways to rooms converted to reception and breakfast areas. Because I was in Portland for Thanksgiving with family, my only concern was a clean and comfortable room for sleeping. My room on the 4th floor met my needs.”
