“The friendliness of staff, the rooms comfortable and warm. The parking was secure and location central for exploring Normandy beaches and museums.”

“Excellent breakfast. Superb restaurant for evening meals. Very friendly staff. We brought bicycles and used the car very little. The hotel is ideally situated, close to the coastal cycle route with traffic free routes to Caen and the D-Day beaches to the west. The room was simply furnished but the bathroom was handy with plenty of hot water.”

“Sadly this was the second time we have visited that the evening staff refused to serve drinks from the bar (we had already checked the bar closing time with the staff when we checked in). It was only just after 9pm, she appeared more interested with her computer. The bar is no more than 5 steps from the reception, not even an apology. When we checked out the same lady ho told us the opening times said she should have served and would talk to her, not much good for us.”
