“Villa Alti was closed for end-of-season repairs, so the owners transferred me to Hotel Alti (3 stars) at the same price, which was a fantastic deal. They called me in person to explain, there were no glitches or extra charges, and their staff were helpful and pleasant throughout.”
“Great breakfast. No pictures of the rooms on website but they are great!”
“I liked the breakfast and the old character building especially the chapel.”
“An old convent, well situated for the mountains. The cheaper rooms, though large, have very tiny bathrooms.”
“Charming mansion house, pretty gardens & grounds, huge rooms. Breakfast was very nice & there was lots to choose from. Bed was comfortable, bathroom very clean and there was good quality linen. Excellent value for money.”
“The property is approximately 5 minutes walk from the Main Street. There is a lift. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room. the bed was really comfortable. The wifi was quite good and reliable. The breakfast was well worth the 8 euro - there was a good selection of produce. good value. The staff washed a pair of pants we had spilt melted butter on the previous day. The room was clean and nicely presented. Some parking was under cover and plenty off street. Super coffee machine at breakfast. The place certainly has character.”
“Amazing building with tons of history. Previously a monastery, has the creaky floor boards, huge old wooden doors and loads of character.”
“Perfect for the cycle trip we were on but quite tired hotel and needs modernisation. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly”
“Very helpful owner, particularly with our requirement for a taxi next morning. Excellent breakfast choices. Lovely big room. Interesting property history (old convent), with chapel. Work in progress to bring up to full glory, but recommended. Garden would be nice on sunny days (it was wet when we arrived!).”
“A wonderful place. Our second visit. Big rooms with a lovely ambience. Great, friendly staff. Own parking within grounds. A historical building with a lovely chapel.”
