“Recently refurbished throughout - a rarity in Japan - and staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast also quite a bit better than typical ski resort fare in Japan. We were driving ourselves so easy access (10 min) to the slopes, but the shuttle bus goes from outside the front door too. Lift tickets on sale at a discount from the reception desk. Plenty of restaurant choices within easy walking distance for dinner.”

“My daughter and I stayed for four nights and loved this place. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and responsive, room was clean and in good condition, and the onsen in the hotel was a nice bonus. Easy walk to restaurants and shops in Echoland. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel, but the breakfast was very good and the restaurant staff really aimed to please. Will definitely stay there again.”

“The staff were so helpful and generous, always providing little treats to our two children - at breakfast and in the lounge. They even served complementary seafood chowder in the lounge in the afternoons - useful when we arrived and non-skiing days. The breakfast (buffet) was easily the best I've ever had in a non-ryokan in Japan. The free wi-fi was fast and provided some entertainment options on non-skiing days. The ski lockers, as well as drop-off/pick-up from the nearby rental shop was very helpful. The recently renovated room had a fully-equipped bathroom so we never needed the public bath. The washer/drier room was clean and drying racks were also provided in the room. We'd happily stay again.”
“Beautiful space, loved how spacious the rooms are, with the option of futon on tatami or western beds. The breakfast was incredible, such a selection and great quality. Very kind and friendly staff, willing to help with any requests and questions. A small walk down the Main Street meant food and bars were within a reasonable distance.”
