“This hotel is an old but newly renovated hotel with a lot of charm. Italian restaurant in the basement with good food. Receptionist speaks good english and was verry helpfull.”

“Perfect place for a stay-over on the way home from Copenhagen. We arrived late and there was no parking left at the property, but we could use the church parking lot directly opposite. Restaurant downstairs was still open for a drink. Hotel has a very nice atmosphere (wooden beams) and the family room was very nicely organised with a main bedroom and a loft. View of the church from the bathroom window. There was a small play corner for the kids, and if we had stayed longer (and if it hadn't been raining) they would have been able to use the outdoor playground as well.”
“The hotel is an old hotel with new additions which are well appointed the breakfasts were continental style as expected It is about 18/20 kilometres outside lubeck with a direct bus service into the city centre which run every half hour. The restaurant is cash only but the food and staff are excellent”

“Travelling long distance with children it was awesome to arrive and find out that our "room" was a two bedroom suite with fully equipped kitchen with a garden patio. Everything super clean, modern and very nice. So for families with children I would absolutely recommend a suite at this hotel.”
“The building was old and really charming, but you could also for this reason hear everything both from the streets, downstairs and the hallway. The bed was really good, and the linen too. Clean and nice room, but wifi was not available in the room far away from the reception. The architecture is beautiful. People had left reviews that the breakfast was poor and boring, but it looked really fresh and there were many types of cheese and meats. Boiled eggs but no other hot food.”
