“Property with lots of history and character, tastefully furnished. Dinner limited choice but a very good meal and good value. ”
“The evening meal and breakfast were OK but expensive for what we got and the room was very basic for nearly £100. We paid extra for the dog but still don't know what we got for our money”
“We were greeted by a very friendly, easy-going manager. The rooms were fine. However breakfast and service was really poor - fruit in a fruit salad had gone 'fizzy' and soft on the edges: Inedible. It took half an hour to be 'noticed' and even request a coffee: The young waitress avoiding eye contact, with no apology offered. When just coffee finally came, it was luke warm. It would have been cleverer to have brought us coffee swiftly if a wait was indeed required for our simple, cold presumably pre-prepared breakfast (no cooked breakfast) requested. - A shame service was poor in a nice hotel, good location, with a stunning cedar. Slightly noisy road.”

“The accommodation was more suited to the Summer when the excellent pool and lovely gardens would be wonderful. The restaurant was excellent and the food very good. The staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Travelling with pets it was very good as there were pleasant quiet walks very handy. Parking was plentiful and convenient to the accommodation.”
