“Very comfortable room for the three of us with a good ensuite bathroom including bath. We had two excellent nights here in August. Very nice staff in a building full of character, but the absolute stand out feature of Le Chapeau Rouge has to be the food! The chef is a master. We had two fantastic evening meals here, in fact they were two of the best meals out we have ever had. On top of that, it is extremely good value. Even if you can't get a room here, I strongly recommend you visit for a meal. Great place.”

“This is a very traditional French hotel offering both character and comfort. The bedroom was spacious, well appointed and the bed comfortable. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was superb. Traditional French cuisine at its very best. Secure car parking in an attractive courtyard was a bonus.”
