“We liked everything about this lovely hotel - nice room, comfortable beds, good cleaning and a perfect location on a quiet little road right in the center of town. Considering the hotel is classified as a 2 star hotel the facilities were really good. The owners were very friendly and helpful giving us information and tips about restaurants as well as places to visit and explore. The first night we parked outside the hotel, the other two nights on a public parking area just a couple of minutes from the hotel. Lamballe turned out to be a very good place to stay as we explored the coastline and cities nearby. When returning to this part of France again we would definitely stay at Le Lion D´or!”

“Very helpful hosts, always on hand. Very convenient to restaurants, a very good choice. Very busy party night on Thursdays in the square , with live music and assorted food stalls. Convenient drive to St Malo, Dinan etc. Should be 3 star! Wifi worked well too! Whole hotel is refurbished to a good standard.”
