“A haven in a small village in rural France, off the main tourist trail. Very friendly welcome, and all staff had a smile. Narrow streets, and close to the river Thouet for walks. Good breakfast selection, but nothing cooked (didn't miss). Excellent restaurant for lunch/dinner. Quiet garden at the rear for dining, or simply a drink, if weather permits.”
