“The monsieur and madame of the house was very welcoming. Even though we could not communicate in english, we managed to sort things out very well. The hosts did not express annoyance in any occation. The building is apparently old, BUT renovated well. We found out that this hotels rooms were the most scandinavic from other hotels we visited, which we enjoyed. Rooms were superclean and cosy in a way of scandinavian. Bathroom was very well renovated. The most amazing was the dinner experience. We enjoyed the food, the delivery of food and expression of respectation from the chef towards the quests. Chef (the owner we though) came to discuss with quests and also noted us, even though as early mentioned the lack of the common language skills. This is provably the most common thing in France, but to us it was the first time, although this was our second vacation in France.”
“Luxurious country hotel with lovely gardens and terrace. Swankey accommodation at an affordable price. Warm welcome from the owners and nothing was too much trouble even when they were under pressure. My choice of food off the menu was very good but I think the choices were just fixed menus and not an a la carte. Not sure about that though.”
