“Old hotel in great neighbourhood. Clean and quiet. Rooms also have a small kitchen area with fridge, microwave and range top. Perfect for anyone staying longer than a couple nights.”
“View from room, we absolutely loved seeing the city from where we were. Clean room! Gorgeous”
“Location was great. 1 block from Allentown (and a great chicken wing place), 2 blocks from the Metro line. Bed was big and comfortable. TV, Keurig machine, hot, big shower, hardwood floors, good view. Good resturant in same building. Staff was outgoing and helpful. Felt like we lived there! (Some of the units have been converted into apartments, that might have something to do with the home feel)”
“Seem like we were alone in the floor so it wasn’t too loud.”
“It's a residential hotel and has no facilities to speak of but that's what I like. It's an old, really interesting building with winding hallways and history - and it's incredibly quiet. I always stay at the Lenox when I visit Buffalo. It's the first time I've stayed in this room and it had 3 windows so I had views east and south. Some rooms have stoves and sinks, as well as a small fridge and microwave, so you can self-cater if you want.”
“It was really a nice experience to stay here. You could even see the river from the window! The room was big and clean, and very quiet at night. The location is fairly convenient, with several bus lines pass by. We can take a bus to downtown Buffalo.”
“the early morning desk clerk was wonderful walked me to my car. I am senior citizen and was not comfortable with my safety in the neighborhood.”
“The Lenox is a lovely century old brick building. Gorgeous lobby. Staff was great. The highest floors are apartments, so a combination of hotel and apartments. We found that interesting.”
“It was an older hotel but I liked that - also F. Scott Fitzgerald lived there as a child, so that's good enough for me!”
“The rooms were super clean and spacious. A lot of the features were vintage but in really good shape.”
