“The first photograph really doesn't do this hotel justice, it is a very recently refurbished and extended 14th century farmhouse, with oak furnishings throughout, which you can tell has been 'a labour of love'. Our bedroom (with a very comfortable bed) opened onto a small rose garden with access to a generously-sized swimming pool. Dinner was superb and as with everything here was very good value for money. The staff could not have been more helpful. The turn off the main road was well signposted (yellow sign) and the hotel itself is in a very peaceful location about 1km along a farm track over a stream. A very good base for exploring the eastern end of the Catalan Pyrenees, we highly recommend Les Planes del Grau for a night or longer stay.”

Family like ambience and tastefully selected interior of the house with emphasis on individual details. We felt well received and well hosted. Good location for touring (motorbike) different kinds of directions (Costa Brava, Andorra, Rupit, etc). For good alternative restaurants (in case ypu stay longer and look for variantions of dinner outside the hotel restaurant), go to Olot (easy to reach by car).”
