“A second visit for us to this fantastic place. This time the restaurant was open in the evening and we had a delicious meal there, sitting out on the terrace. Breakfast superb. We had a different lodge this time with a different view. Lovely atmosphere. We were just travelling through this time but it is in great place to visit the Puy de Dome.”

“Loved the concept of the place. The friendly personal service. The simplicity of the menus in the restaurant...a few amazing dishes but not too much choice and that as much of the food as possible was sourced locally or made on site. The accommodation was clean comfortable and had everything you needed and laid out so that you were not too close to the other lodges. Would love to see the project developed further to include renewable energy supplies such as wind and solar power generation but given the lodges have only been running for 3 years and the substantial investment it must have to taken to date, that is probably a future step. Well worth a visit to experience amazing landscapes and something a little different to the standard gîtés or static campsite...a massive thankyou to Lionel and his team for giving us a fabulous welcome!”
