“The location is really good. It’s located inside of the biggest old town so it’s easy to take around. And also it’s located the edge of old town, it’s easy to bring your heavy laggage to the hotel. *cars are not allowed inside of old town and the road is all stone paving. The women staff, her name is sheena can speak English and do her best to make your trip the best, I changed my stay from reservation but she adjusted without any extra fee. They can arrange taxi cheaper than normal. I took taxi to airport with 80yuan but I heated it takes 100yuan normally.”

“The owner and his sister speak excellent English and went out of their way to assist us on several occasions. They really made our trip so much easier. As backpackers we were extremely impressed with the standards of the rooms. They are warm comfortable and very quiet. We slept so well during our stay. The location is also superb. Right on the edge of the old town in a lovely quiet street.”

“The staff were extremely helpful even though they didn't speak English (although the owner and his sister do, so ask for them if you need help). Best things about property:1. Location: close enough to main road so you don't need get lost in the maze dragging luggage. Easy in. Easy out. 2. Location: steps to the old town3. QUIET: best sleep in China4. Bed: warm, comfortable 5. Shower: hot, hot water 6. Floor heater: enough to take the chill out of the air 7. Bus stop to Shuhe just steps away8. Starbucks/KFC about 10 min walk for when you just need something familiar 9. Wifi: excellent ”

“Sheena was super friendly and helpful! Her and her staff helped us with trip planning, organizing tours, and even taught us how to serve tea Chinese style, which was a bundle of fun. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of the old town. The facilities were all great, and the beds were much more comfortable than we expected. We took off to hike Tiger Leaping Gorge, and Sheena even offered to help us keep our luggage for a few days until we came back. Will definitely come back! :)”
