“Excellent location about 7 minutes walk to the main entrance in the Terracotta Warriors museum. Located in a beautiful traditional Chinese house, the traditionally decorated room was spacious with a modern Chinese style toilet and shower. Traditional Chinese food can be found at the hotel's restaurant or at any other restaurant nearby. Though hardly speaking English the staff was very nice and helpful.”
“I CAME BY LOCAL BUS AND THEY DROP YOU OFF ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THERE IS LIKE NO WHERE TO GO EXCEPT INTO A GIANT CAR PARK FULL OF TOURIST STALLS, YOU ASK DIRECTIONS AND YOU GET TO A BUSY RESTAURANT WHERE THE HOTEL RECEPTION IS AT THE BACK, AND IS ALSO THE CASHIER. THEY GIVE YOU A GOOD ROOM AND YOU WANDER TO FIND THE TERRACOTTA WARRIORS. THE TICKET OFFICE IS NO WHERE NEAR THE ENTERANCE.. TOMORROW WHEN I LEAVE THE WARRIERS AT THE EXIT IN THE LATE AFTERNOON , THERE ARE ENGLISH TOURISTS PLEADING FOR SOME ONE TO SHOW THEM WHERE THE TICKET OFFICE IS. THERE IS LIKE A MILLION PEOPLE THERE. AT 5PM IT CLOSES AND BY 6PM IT IS LIKE A GHOST TOWN. THE HOTEL IS WORTH STAYING AT BECAUSE YOU ARE THERE. IT IS FUN TO BE AN INDEPENDANT TRAVELLER. COMPARED TO THOSE TOUR GROUPS WHO ARRIVE IN THE STREAM OF BUSES AND FOLLOW SOME ONE HOLDING A FLAG ABOVE THEIR HEAD AND GET 2 OR 3 HOURS AMONGST WHAT DOES SEEM LIKS A MILLION TOURISTS. 97% CHINESE. WHO ARE LOVELY HELPFUL PEOPLE.”
“Awesome place. Right next to the Terracota Warriers and a short bus ride to Hanqing Palace. Our host was amazing she and I communicated half English, half Chinese we made it work. The best part was the rooms, they are really clean and have everything you need: towels, soap, shampoo.”
