“The property is just around the corner to Monreale Cathedral, so the location could not be more convenient. The room was ample and the bathroom was cosy. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the private parking was at 200 meters away.”
“Very helpful, friendly staff who carried our luggage to and from our very sweet apartment. Good food and atmosphere at the Locanda. Wonderful location. Exceeded our expectations. It was in a really lovely location....a very short walking distance to bus stop for Palermo. Apart from visiting the Cathedral there was not much else to do except have a cocktail, drink wine and eat well ....the Cafe Savoia a few metres away became our watering hole where we watched the street scene...and where lots of beautiful people came together in the evenings..... Monreale is a quiet alternative to Palermo ...a good place to sleep and de stress. Safe. The car park was provided free of charge and this left us free to visit Palermo by bus, tickets are cheap....it's quick, air conditioned and stress free. The area is well serviced by public transport each day except Sundays.”
“Bianca was a fabulous host. She allowed us early entry to our room, showed us where we could park for free in the street, and made a table reservation for us in the restaurant downstairs. The room had what appeared to be frescoes on the wall. There was a good AC and a fridge in the room. The cathedral is across the street, bus to Palermo is about 200 meters away, and a hop on/off tour bus for Palermo stops about 50 meters away. Restaurant had a varied menu, fair prices, and excellent food. Be warned that the stairs to the rooms are steep.”
“Beautiful and newly decorated hotel right behind the gorgeous Monreale Cathedral. We booked a room for 4 people and it was more than we needed space-wise. All basic amenities included as well. Would highly recommend for a night's stay.”
