“What nice people a husband and wife team he is the chef, she does the front of the house. We were treated like old friends. It is located in a small village and while we were having wine outside the sheep were herded through the village road right beside us how fun. Dinner was great and so was breakfast. If we are near this area again we would love to stay here again and this time get a room at the back with a balcony over looking the stream and fields out back.”

“Just a short distance out of St Jean Pied-de-Port in a beautiful, small, French village. The hotel is on the edge of the village with lovely views over the countryside. Cheese from local sheep, vegetables from their own garden, and a very good restaurant, what more do you want. Our hostess was justifiably proud of her vegetable garden and gave us a guided tour.”

“The rooms were spotless and stylish, with more personal touches than you'd bet in the bigger chains. It's impossible to overstate how delicious the food was - the Menu del Torroir (sorry if I've mangled the spelling) is exceptional value and quality. Easily the best food I've ever had in France.”
