“The accommodation was very comfortable and cozy. The staff were welcoming and service was great.”
“The hotel is a perfectly adequate 2 star country hotel, nicely positioned overlooking a reservoir. Our room was equally adequate, with a small balcony overlooking the view which would have been very pleasant on a warmer evening. The staff, who covered everything from reception to bar drinks to serving in the restaurant were pleasant and keen to help, and the first course of our evening meal in the very busy restaurant was almost Michelin star standard, but our main course was a disaster, having apparently been forgotten in the oven, and served dry, burnt and overcooked. I should have rejected both main courses and regret that I didn't, but with the restaurant full (of locals), felt that a replacement would have taken too long to produce.”

“The hotel is in a lovely position, and we had a drink on the terrace overlooking the lake. Although it was mid-July it was pretty quiet. Friendly welcome. Good evening meal in the restaurant. Comfortable bed, good shower. A good number of activities on the lake for families.”
