“A nice, clean, comfortable, laid-back and inexpensive place in Anuradhapura. The staff are friendly, although sometimes I had difficulty locating them! The only issue is that the location of the hotel is a bit away from any kind of city centre (although the city itself is a bit spread out), and you can't really walk anywhere. You will be at the mercy of tuk-tuks or rented cars. But it was very easy for the hotel staff to call a tuk-tuk, a service we happily utilized. We only stayed one night here, and I think it is a good value-for-money option for travellers.”
“Great breakfast and lovely staff, need to specially mention Kumara for outstanding service and attention to detail,”
“The hotel is nice, our room was nice and quite big. Breakfast is good. The only problem is that it is not close to the city center.”
“Very helpful nice staff and more than one spoke good English. Bikes for hire. Pleasant balcony for afternoon drink. Away from busy city centre but a long ride to attractions.”
“Big room and nice terrace, great meals home cooked for breakfast and dinner”
“Everything was great, the best wifi we had in 2 weeks in Sri Lanka.”
“The room was clean, bright and airy with a lovely balcony. It was quiet at night (bar a few dog fights). Food was delicious and freshly prepared for us.”
“Staff very helpful. Arranged early check in and advised us which station to get off at as we were coming in by train. New Town is closer. We had an upstairs room on the very end. Lovely breezy balcony. Comfy bed. Very acceptable room and bathroom although shower drained very slowly. The next morning it was better so I think they got the plumber in. Rice and Curry dinner was delicious. Overall, excellent value for money.”
“The rooms with accompanying balconies are very beautiful ”
“Great value for money and the accommodation had everything we needed. Food was excellent, including dinner which was one of the best curries we had in Sri Lanka. Bike hire is very cheap and was a great way to explore the sites.”
