“Clean and quiet. Great common room with lots of snacks, bottled water, microwave and coffee maker. Cool weather prompted the owner to give us space heaters for bathroom and bedroom. Unfortunately, fuses blew twice while in use. Owner fixed first time, but had to be phoned since she was not in when it happened second time.”

The owner is so helpful- she spent time telling us the best way to get to Leon and how to get around in the city. This town is sweet- everyone is kind and helpful. “Location, nice quirky room with big bathroom and, as it was cold outside, it had heating on! Los Bacones is not a hotel. It is a nice old Spanish building with individual en suite bathrooms and a communal kitchen. Perfect for people like us walking the Camino De Santiago.”
