“Everything ! This is an excellent small hotel that is spotlessly clean, located on the river Nile. All rooms have an amazing view of the river Nile and the West Bank of Luxor , across to Hatshepsut's Temple. The swimming pool is perfectly located and well kept, you can eat lunch, sip your drink and marvel at the glories of Luxor whilst watching the Nile flow. You will witness glorious sunsets al from the comfort of the Lotus Hotel. The staff are courteous and efficient, without being intrusive. I have stayed in most of the Hotels in Luxor over the past 13 years and The Lotus beats them all ! It's excellent value for money.... 10/15 minutes walk from Luxor Temple, a taxi ride away from Karnak Temple.... local buses pass the front of the Hotel, there are many fantastic restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The people of Luxor are warm and welcoming, their hospitality is second to none ! The photo of the pool was taken at 05:30 hrs and the sunset at around 18:30hrs”

“The room was sufficient and clean. The window between the shower and the bed was weird. I enjoyed the sitting on the balcony watching the Nile. The surrounding neighborhood had several good restaurants and an especially great ice cream shop, Wenkies. Must go.”
