“This small friendly hotel is located in the centre of the attractive village of Gammel Rye, with direct access onto paths across heather-clad hills. Our room opened out onto the garden. Staff, and Anita in particular, were extremely friendly and helpful on a whole range of topics. When we reported a faulty light, it was immediately rectified. Breakfast was good, with local produce. The restaurant (open Wednesday to Sunday) is stunningly good with excellent food on a small menu, a wide wine list, and detailed and considerate personal service. It was useful to have a kettle and free coffee and tea.”
