“The hotel and room were very beautifully decorated and everything was squeaky clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly, we really felt welcomed when we arrived. We had a direct seaview from the room (we switched the room from standard to superior in the hotel). Breakfast buffet had anything you could think of. As a matter of fact I've never seen breakfast buffet as extensive as this one. We were able to park our car in basement garage for a little charge. We also took a plunge in the hotel pool. There's a wonderful view of the beach from the pool. They also have a jacuzzi, which we did not try. The beaches right in front of us were amazing: very wide and hardly anyone there. The waves were huge! I wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed for one night only on our way to the south.”
“This hotel is right on the beach front, with beautiful sea views and easy access to the stunning beach. It has a lovely little pool area and great little spa area (steam room, sauna, and plunge shower). The breakfast was very nice and worth getting. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The hotel is perhaps, in some areas, a little tired (new fittings needed here and there and some outdoor areas needing to be cleaner) but this really shouldn't take away from this hotel. It does offer something fab right on the front. It definitely is the best hotel on the beach and we would stay again. Our room was a lovely size and very clean, with a handy balcony. There are fantastic seafood restaurants nearby, nice walks, and the direct bus from Coimbra stops just around 5 mins walk from the hotel.”
