“Great introduction to our stay in India. Beautiful setting and perfect hosts. Anita, Khan and their staff couldn’t be more helpful. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The complex has outdoor seating areas, great for mingling with fellow guests and enjoying the company. With easy access to the beach, restaurants and shops. Mad about Coco is an ideal place to relax in a chilled and friendly atmosphere and great value. Breakfast is fab. Highly recommended.”
“This was the biggest surprise of our month long trip around India. Everything about this place was completely perfect for us - it's less than a minutes walk from the beach/the beautiful Varkala cliff, there are a multitude of great restaurants, cafes and local shops on the doorstep, all of which have a stunning view over the cliff, there are plenty of lovely places to sit and relax and chat to other guests/staff, the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean and as if that wasn't enough, they have an amazing yoga space looking out over the sea and all the palm trees. All in all it was just what we'd been looking for all over India, like an upscale/more mature hostel without the dorms but with the lovely communal areas fantastic value for money. We would definitely stay again. ”

“Fantastic location on the cliffs just steps from shops and restaurants. Big clean rooms with balcony and awesome public areas for relaxing and socialising. Kahn was super helpful and can help you organise your onward plans and anything you need while in varkala. They do a great breakfast, have free water refills to save plastic and great WiFi. Highly recommended. They also send our fantastic detailed directions from booking when you reserve your room so it's easy to find. highly recommended!”
