“Clean room; hot water; large room with adequate storage space but not much else. Wide range of TV channels. The hotel is within 15 mins walk of the town centre but there are frequent buses too. A stop for the airport bus is quite close. There is a clutch of decent restaurants nearby. Breakfast is OK but not exciting in a spacious breakfast room. Fruit juice commented on by an earlier reviewer is now at full strength. Taking account of the price, all this represents good value. I would stay again if re-visiting Madeira.”

“Nice, small hotel Room was large, clean and quiet. Balcony faced South West, could see the sea (side view) and got sun until 6pm (in Nov!). 3rd floor room Breakfast adequate. 3 hot things and lots of cheese and cold meats. Variety of breads.”

“Staff were great and helpful. Breakfast was good. Our car wouldn't fit in the limited space they had. Street parking was fine but you had to pay for max of 4 hrs (not the hotels fault). Will be back for sure. Located close to the Casino and city was 10mins away. Friends birthday was during our stay and they gave him a personal greeting when we came back in the afternoon and had left Champagne in the room.”

“The hotel is excellent value for money. Our 4 night stay only cost 265EUR including breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and large. We had the only big balcony in the hotel (ask for room 102!) There was a bidet in the bathroom too which is an added plus in my opinion.”
