“My son and I stayed here for two nights, initially choosing this property because of the reliable internet which my son needed. Juan was an excellent host. He was welcoming and enjoyed speaking English to us. He and the staff addressed us by name. Juan showed me all the fruits and flowers that he has growing on the property. He arranged tours for us and transportation back to Tarapoto for an evening flight. The town of Sauce is within walking distance however we ate all of our meals at the hotel. The food was good and Juan made recommendations based on what we had already tried. The fruit juices and drinks made from fruit on the property were excellent. And the coffee..... probably the best coffee I have ever had and my only regret is that I forgot to purchase a few bags on my way out to take back to New York with me. Our room was clean and a comfortable temperature with the fan. We both used the pool a few times and it was very refreshing.”

Owner Juan was very helpful, and we had good chat with him about the history of the area. We had some fresh caught tilapia from the lake cooked for us in the hotel kitchen, that was delicious.”
