“The story around the hotel is supposed to be funky - a former mill, but now nicely decorated. In reality, it's just an average hotel, with a funky lobby. The rooms are typical. My daughter's room (single) was rather stuffy, with the window facing some technical equipment making noise on the roof. My room was big enough, with a big bathroom and a nice view. The receptionist was nice and changed the room for my daughter when we informed there was funny smell we could not get rid of even with the window fully open.”

“Malom Hotel is very nice place to stay. Hotel is perfect, very well equipped, quite new, room was very comfortable, everything is super clean, bathroom is quite spacious. This hotel is quite unique because it was a mill before, it is decorated with motives from old mill age which make it different and stands out from classic hotels. I would definitely stay again in this hotel if going again to Debrecen. Staff at the reception is very friendly, all the best to them!”

“We couldn't stay for breakfast, we had to leave early. But the staff was very nice and packed us breakfast for the road. Ham and cheese sandwiches, a yoghurt, some fruit, water and also coffee/tea. It was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone 100%, and will definitely go back, because I travel through Debrecen a lot. Location is also very good. The room was tremendous. A large bed, and the room combined traditional and modern styles effectively.”
