“Big room with very nice decor. The bed extra comfy. Definitely value for money!”
“Really comfortable and modern room. Staff is friendly, but sometimes shows signs of lacking a professional training. English probably not spoken by most (we used my so-so Russian, but nobody volunteered with better English). Locations is pretty good, in the end of the main street, but the hotel is located a couple of hundra meters from the road among less idyllic soviet apartment block. The gym is good for a hotel, but not as good as you would suspect from a gym/fitness centre.”
“This hotel is very close to the centre of Aktau and the beach, though it is located inside the side road from the main avenue so it is far away from the traffic. The facilities in the hotel are good enough if you plan to spend awhile in Aktau as it has a good gym, indoor swimming pool (though it was under renovation when we were there), roof top bar/restaurant and a comfy cinema. The staff were very accommodating and willing to help. Though there were language barriers (they hardly could speak English and we only knew some local words/Russian) we had some funny moments trying to get our message across. It was a bit disappointed when I arrived and found out that the hotel is not part of the big chain Mandarin Oriental Hotel. So be warned if you think this is the case. But the hospitality of the staff made our stay very much enjoyable, and for that reason I give them 5 stars for hospitality.”

“В номере - комфортная температура. Кровать, подушки - очень удобные. Качественный и вкусный завтрак - яичница, блинчики, каши, чай с молоком. Можно пообедать - недорого и также вкусно: отличные супы, манты, плов. Бассейн - достаточных размеров и глубины, чтобы поплавать. Персонал всегда старается идти навстречу вашим желаниям”
