“Hotel over a bar. Very modest but made up for by a very warm and fair welcome by the proprietor who speaks good English. Simple very clean room. Secure parking 500 metres away in an underground park. The walk was a good bit if therapy before and after a day's drive.”

Location opposite the Chateau, very friendly host/staff, clean, window with box full of red geraniums (?) to look out at the Chateau and Angers life in general 😀We did not take breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment on that. We knew there was no parking at the hotel but managed to find free, on-street parking less than 5 mins walk away. Also less than 5 mins walk is Le Napoli - we ended up eating there both nights as it was so good! ”
