“The lady who ran this small hotel (I assume she was the owner) was absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The decor was not ultra modern but the rooms were absolutely spotless.We had rooms at the front with balconies looking out over the hills and mountains There was secure private parking at the rear for our motorbikes. The hotel is located just out of town but am sure it would be walking distance if you wanted to bother. We ate at the hotel in the evening. It was great value and we ate massive steaks on a stone. We were also treated to the lovely lady's home made pumpkin chutney which was delicious. Only sad that we were passing through and only staying for one night on the way to central Portugal. Good served continental breakfast with a variety of things to eat.”
“Wat oudere maar zeer vriendelijke mensen, het hotel is al wat ouder maar zeker goed onderhouden. Alles was brandschoon en keurig netjes tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Personeel en meewerkende eigenaren deden er alles aan om je een prettig verblijf te geven.”

“A amabilidade da gerência, foi o que mais apreciamos. Estando em manutenção de alguns quartos escolheram para nós um mais afastado das reparações pelo que não fomos incomodados pelas obras. Tudo esteve de acordo com o esperado, foi uma boa escolha para visitar Trás-os-Montes, pois para quem se desloca em carro, Macedo de Cavaleiros fica no local indicado para visitar Bragança, Chaves, Mirandela e Vila Real”
